Large new mixed-use project set near Caldwell’s Indian Creek

The City of Caldwell will break ground on one of its newest developments Tuesday – Caldwell Creekside.

Boise-based developer deChase Miksis wants to build a five-story mixed-use project, located at the corner of Main and 6th St. It would have retail and parking on the ground floor and market-rate apartments above. The apartments will be a mix of studios, one, and two-bedrooms. Amenities include working spaces, an outdoor deck, a fitness center, and energy-efficient appliances.

The city anticipates residents to be from larger metropolitan areas, and people who want to work and live in a close environment. Indian Creek Plaza, a coffee shop, and a grocery store are all nearby.

The city is expecting that construction will take 16 months, with an estimated completion date around early to mid-2023.
