A new spot to swill beer, cider, wine, hard-seltzer, and kombucha is opening this weekend in downtown Boise.

BoiseDev told readers back in March that Mother Earth Brewing, a California-based brewery with a giant location in Nampa, is opening a Boise taproom. A two-day grand opening of the Boise location, which is located at 3rd St. and Broad St., is planned for this Friday and Saturday. Both days will feature live music, food trucks, and plenty of cold, local beer. Hours on Friday are 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. and noon to 11 p.m. on Saturday.

“Coming to Boise has been a dream of ours since we landed in Idaho,” said Daniel Love, President, and Founder of Mother Earth Brew Co. “We knew we needed to be patient so we could find the right location, but also so that we could earn our place here and show natives that we can bring them a premium product in a premium location, and I think we managed to achieve that with our new Boise Tap House.”

The Boise location will regularly feature more than 20 different taps and seating for nearly 100 people. It also includes a large patio space for warmer days.

Mother Earth first launched in California in 2010 and later expanded to Nampa. The Nampa location includes a 40,000 square foot production facility that helps Mother Earth produce and distribute its products across the region and Internationally.
