New Boise pizza place hopes you’ll make it a movie night with its pies

Legen — wait for it — dary. (Pizza.)

A new pizza place in west Boise hopes to combine take ‘n’ bake pizza with movie night – with pies themed to TV shows and movies.

“Legendary Pizza sells take n’ bake specialty pizzas named after some of your favorite films. How I Met Your Mother fans can appreciate that our restaurant’s name and pizza selection is ‘Legen…wait for it…dary!’ Our specialty pizzas are made with fresh dough and ingredients that make each bite pack a punch of flavor.”

[Boise’s oldest bar set for big upgrades. But the history won’t be touched]

The locally-owned spot is set for the Five Mile Plaza Shopping Center at 10374 W. Overland Rd.

Pizza varieties include Pick Me, Choose Me (chicken, spinach, sundried tomato), If You Build It They Will Come (you chose the toppings), and Alright Alright Alright (ranch, minced garlic, chicken, and bacon bits). A range of salads with slightly less creative names (house, Italian, Ceaser…) and cheese sticks and cinnamon sticks round out the menu.

Legendary says it will offer a variety of crust options, including thin crust, gluten-free or cheese-stuffed, with the dough hydrated using olive oil.

Legendary Pizza says it will offer both pick-up, as well as delivery via major services like DoorDash and UberEats. An opening date is not yet set.
