The Ada County Highway District will soon start construction on the Ten Mile Road Project.
The project between Overland and Victory will improve roadway and intersections, improve safety for pedestrians, motorists, and bicyclists alike, and help with increased traffic volumes.
Improvements include widening Ten Mile Rd to two lanes in both directions with a center turn lane and center medians, and adding gutter, curb, and pathways to both sides of the road.

Additionally, crews will install a new multi-lane roundabout at the intersection of Ten Mile and Victory with two lanes leading up to the roundabout, added gutter, curb, pathways, splitter islands, and crosswalks, and a new stormwater basin south of the intersection.
ACHD said the roundabout is designed to ‘easily expand’ to a full dual-lane roundabout.
ACHD expects the construction to start in late January and be complete fall of 2022.
