Nampa Sears-branded store is set to close

Date:

Another Sears-branded store is closing in the Treasure Valley.

Sears Hometown Stores in Nampa at 1404 1st St. will close for good on March 4. The store announced on Facebook it was having a closing blowout sale.

In 2018, BoiseDev reported the closure of the Boise Towne Square Sears after the company entered bankruptcy protection. Then in 2020, the Sears Outlet Store on Franklin Rd. dropped the Sears brand and became American Freight Outlet Store.

The Sears Hometown Stores in Nampa opened in 2020. Hometown stores are locally-owned franchises.
