Another tenant of Eagle View Landing in Meridian has been announced.
Kiln, a “lifestyle-focused” coworking space with locations in Utah and Colorado, will open in the mixed-use development along I-84 and Eagle Rd. Kiln will take over a 50,000 square foot space on the top two floors of the building.
CEO Arian Lewis, said Kiln provides “amenity-rich” workspaces that are different from traditional shared office and coworking space. The workspace will have areas for individuals and teams of up to 50 people to work on projects.
“Kiln is a boutique, lifestyle-focused coworking brand that is primarily driven around the well-being of our members and enabling teams and individuals to perform at their highest level,” Lewis said. “As a result, we have allocated a lot of square footage dedicated to communal amenities that look after the physical, social, and emotional wellness of our members.”
Lewis said what makes Kiln different is the amenities. People working in the Meridan location would have access to treadmill desks, cycling, massage chair and refresh rooms, a fitness studio, and food and beverages that are served daily. Along with a video and podcast studio, Kiln will also have a barbershop, a theater, and more.
“We focus on how we can help companies and teams and individuals perform at a higher level, and the aesthetic and the amenities and the overall offering of Kiln generally save companies about 5 percent on their overarching HR spend,” he said.
The Meridan coworking space can fit up to 600 members. Membership costs start at $245 a month.
“What excites me most about the Treasure Valley is the chance to bring a product to that market that is unique and different from anything it currently offers,” Lewis said. “And to see the kinds of personalities and characters and the creative and ingenious entrepreneurs that come out of the woodwork because they want to be part of our community.”
Kiln will share parking with Topgolf and is expected to open this April.
Eagle View Landing is a large 52-acre site being developed by Ball Ventures Ahlquist. Along with Kiln and Topgolf, it will feature a mix of developments, including an Idaho Central Credit Union and Hyatt Place hotel.
