In-N-Out Burger has officially filed for a permit to build its first Idaho location at the Village at Meridian.
BoiseDev first reported in January that the California-based chain was considering a location at 3520 E. Fairview Ave. The Village site is currently a small dirt lot located south of the H&M store and across the Village parking lot.
The proposed 3,879 square foot development would seat 84 guests indoors and 32 guests outdoors. The drive-through would accommodate a queue of 41 cars and there would be enough on-site parking for 47 cars.
The application letter said once started, construction would take about six months.
In-N-Out would operate seven days a week, from 10 a.m. to 1 a.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10 a.m. to 1:30 a.m. on Friday and Saturdays.
The restaurant’s menu has remained simple since 1948, serving up burgers, fries, Coke products, and shakes. The chain also has its “not so secret menu,” with protein style and animal style.
The City of Meridian has not set a hearing date for In-N-Out.
