Boise cycling gym reopens in Meridian after two-year closure

After closing because of the pandemic, a Boise cycling gym is reopening two years later in Meridian.

As BoiseDev previously reported, that building will soon open as the Warehouse Food Hall.

UpCycle announced it will open its new Meridian location at 1728 East McMillan Rd. this Saturday. The studio is in the Woodland Springs Shopping Center.

“With COVID-19, re-development of BoDo, and success in other aspects of my career, it became clear we needed to take a step back and evaluate what would be best for the UpCycle community,” UpCycle founder Allen Traylor said. “There was no way we were just going to let it go away.”

On Saturday’s opening day, UpCycle will offer free classes from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and guests will have a chance to meet the instructors. There will also be food, drinks, and raffles from neighboring businesses.

In 2019, BoiseDev reported that UpCycle would close its BoDo location due to the forthcoming The Warehouse food hall. UpCycle posted on Facebook saying the story was a “misprint,” and said they were “Here to Stay.” UpCycle ultimately closed its Bodo location.
