The Treasure Valley is getting a sought-after home goods retailer.

(No, not that one.)

HomeGoods opened its first full-line store in Nampa’s Treasure Valley Market Place. The store opened yesterday at 16412 N. Marketplace Blvd., in the former Cost Plus World Market space, not too far from Target.

HomeGoods is owned by TJX Companies and is the sister brand to TJ Maxx. A HomeGoods ‘store within a store’ operates on Franklin Rd. in Boise and is tucked inside TJ Maxx. The new location is a full-fledged HomeGoods store with a larger store space and increased selection.

Here’s how the TJX marketers describe the store: “At HomeGoods Nampa, ID youll (sic) find a unique selection of home décor from around the world, all at amazing prices. HomeGoods offers an ever-changing mix of merchandise for every room in the home, including: furniture, rugs, lighting, wall art, decorative pillows and accessories, bedding, bath, storage, pet, kids’ décor and toys, gifts, gourmet food, dining, cookware, entertaining essentials, outdoor, seasonal décor and so much more.”

The area also features a stand-alone TJ Maxx outlet across Midland Blvd.
