Caldwell’s Senior Farmer’s Market Program returns for the summer

Starting on June 7, The Caldwell Farm to Fork Farmers Market will be offering seniors ages 60 and older the opportunity to receive free produce.

The Senior Farmer’s Market Produce Program is funded my local sponsors who make it possible for seniors to have access to fresh produce.

A limited number of vouchers are offered each week to seniors, that can then be exchanged for Idaho-grown fruits, herbs, vegetables, and eggs.

Although seniors are just eligible for free produce, people of all ages, backgrounds and incomes are encouraged to attend, proving all consumers with farm to fork experiences.

“This year’s market will continue to highlight the community’s vegetables, free range eggs, farm-raised beef, and award-winning wines, while selling local art, handmade beauty products, and freshly baked goods.”

The market is located at the Indian Creek Plaza and will happen every Tuesday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. until September 27. See flyer below for more details.
