A large apartment complex is proposed for Meridian.

Just east of the intersection at E Copper Point Drive and S Cobalt Point Way, The Land Group is planning to build a 264-unit apartment complex.

Cobalt Point would be built on almost 13 acres of land. The application letter said most of the units would have 80 square feet or more of private open space made up of balconies, private yards, or porches.

The units would be a mix of one, two, and three bedrooms.

As for amenities, there would be a clubhouse with leasing and property managing offices inside. There would also be a centralized mail space, fitness facility, dog park, pool, and sports court. A maintenance building and storage would be onsite as well.

The complex would have 513 parking spaces and charging stations for electric vehicles.
