If you’re in the market for shooting gear on the Bench, you’ll be in luck later this year.
Caldwell-based D&B Supply has plans to expand its location in the Overland Park Center shopping center to add roughly 5,000 square feet of space to the store. This will enable the outdoor and home supply store to offer a range of new products including firearms, ammunition, fishing gear, knives and other sporting goods items. This will also include holsters, magazines and additional shooting accessories.
“We’re modernizing for the future and with the growth of the valley we’re putting ourselves in a better position to take care of more customers,” D&B Supply Vice President of Operations Brandt Ruzicka said.
To expand in the shopping center, D&B acquired the former Cancun restaurant space next door and will be moving its offices and break room into the restaurant space, allowing more room for merchandise. Construction is expected to be complete by October of this year.
Part of a chain-wide expansion effort
This is not the only D&B location getting a new lease on life.
Ruzicka said several other Idaho locations expanded recently, including the Mountain Home store that moved to a newly remodeled building and the Twin Falls store’s move to a former K-Mart. D&B Supply is also in the process of building a 100,000-square-foot distribution center in Caldwell. It is expected to be online next summer.
