A popular sandwich and lemonade shop is opening its third location in east Boise today.

Fans of Lemon Tree Co. can now get their fix at the newest Parkcenter location on Parkcenter Blvd. Lemon Tree replaced the former Mazzah Mediterranean Grill, which closed in 2021. Mazzah’s State St. location is still open.

Lemon Tree owner Jasson Parra says unlike the downtown Boise and Harrison Blvd. shops, the Parkcenter location will be more of a cafe, offering an expanded menu.

“We’re going to do 10 of our original sandwiches that we have at each location here in town,” Parra said. “And then we’re also going to introduce tacos six different ways.”

Along with tacos, Parra added that customers can also find burgers, flatbreads, and brunch items on the menu, some of which will be vegan. The soups, salads, and kids menu offered at the other locations will also be available at Parkcenter.

“Whether you’re a meat eater, vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free or keto, you’re able to have something here,” Parra said.

As for beverages, the newest location will offer its signature lemonades, coffee, mimosas and five beers on draft, four of which are local.

Lemon Tree on Parkcenter will be open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday. Brunch hours on Saturday and Sunday are from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. then the shop will reopen at 4 p.m.
