If you’ve taken the drive up the hill to Bogus Basin, you know that it can be a bumpy (and dusty) ride.
But over the last several weeks, crews have been working to pave the dirt road from Parking Lot #1 to Frontier Point Lodge.
“No more bumps and ruts, next time you’re on the mountain, check it out!” Bogus Basin announced in an email to customers.
The lot could see large ruts and potholes in the winter months, with snow and mud piled up. One user on Instagram jokingly asked if Bogus had installed the potholes yet. “They’re in the storage shed with the moguls…,” Bogus’ social media folks joked back
This is one of several upgrades that Bogus has made in the past year to its parking lots. In October, parking lot four was paved and expanded – adding at least 200 more parking spaces.
