Hendricks Commercial Properties has given a name to its planned restaurant at 11th St. and Grove St. in Downtown Boise: Baraboo Supper Club.
The Beloit, Wisconsin-based owner of an under-construction hotel on the old back parking lot of The Owyhee put up signage advertising the new name in recent weeks. Crews started construction on Hotel Renegade earlier this year, with an estimated opening in 2024.
Plans call for a restaurant and two different bar spaces in the eight-story hotel. On the ground floor, the lobby will connect to a large bar and lounge space. A smaller restaurant is tucked into the southwest corner of the building along Grove St.
On the top floor, Hotel Renegade features another bar, which connects to an outdoor patio along 11th Street. There is also a large banquet space with a dedicated patio along Grove St.
Baraboo is the name of a city in Wisconsin, about 90 minutes drive north of Beloit, Wisconsin – the home base of Hendricks Commercial Properties, which owns the new hotel and restaurant. Owner Diane Hendricks also controls ABC Supply Co., which operates in Baraboo.
The website for the future Hotel Renegade shows a dark color palette with deep wood tones, tile, and drapery-covered windows. City permit filings show a separate entry for the restaurant along Grove St.
