Antique World Mall reopens after neighboring business collapsed

When the Reel Theatre on Overland Rd. collapsed, it caused the neighboring Antique World Mall to close temporarily.

For the first time since late June, the Antique World Mall will open again today. BoiseDev reported back in July that the shop was hoping to reopen in a few weeks.

The Reel Theatre closed because of a lack of patrons from the pandemic.

Several months later, a beam collapsed, causing major damage that led to the mall closing.

Antique World Mall sells vintage pieces and antiques. The shopping center that houses the antique store and the former Reel Theatre opened in 1958.

The mall will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
