St. Luke’s launches new way for patients to pick up medication

St. Luke’s rolled out a new way for patients to pick up their medication. The new system brings prescription drugs to a store that traditionally doesn’t have a pharmacy – WinCo Foods.

The health system announced new free-standing medication lockers that allow for contactless pickup outside pharmacy hours.

To use the locker, a patient must first review available medications and use MyChart or contact St. Luke’s to add the locker as a preferred pharmacy. Then, they must request a refill.

The lockers cannot be used to pick up controlled substances.

St. Luke’s website says most medications will be filled the same day upon request.

Currently, the only listed locker location is at the WinCo in Meridian.
