A new apartment complex is planned off of Franklin Road in Meridian.
Realm Venture Group’s project would consist of 60 apartment units. Thirty units would be one-bedroom, one-bath, and the other 30 would be two-bedroom one-bath units. Each unit would come with a private deck.
Meridian OZ Apartments would be spread across five 12-plex buildings that would be three stories each.
The apartment amenities include a community garden, bike storage, and walking paths. There is a planned 112 parking spaces that include 60 covered by carports.
The applicant is applying for a conditional use permit and a modification to a development agreement. The current development agreement on the land is 23 years old and was made for Cobblestone Village, a project that had a planned 96 apartment units.
The applicant will be at the Meridian planning and Zoning meeting on February 16 for a public hearing on the project.
